Entry number 1
I'm heading to the Americas, it is a long trip but it sure
will have your reward, I heard that in the Americas there are all kinds of new
things, food and animals also, but what most motivates me is being able to get
some land for me, it is one of the world still very unexplored, and I can get
my feel all these riches, it is said that the Americas is full of gold, and
that the cities where abundant, but also hope to see the sights and lands
waiting for my to be claimed, I can not wait for the time to come, and I hope
very soon.
Entry number 2
I've been three months in the Americas, certainly is how I
imagine it, yet there are many things I never thought I see, I thought that the
natives were simply a group of people who lived here in a place without any
kind of civilization, but is completely different, are truly amazing
constructions, plus roads, but mostly also have a system of social organization
everyone has a role in this society. Some of them guide us, it is amazing how
well known this area, know of all the dangers in an occasion one of them had a
kind of poisoning being bitten by an animal, but one of the Indians who guided
us knew exactly what do not know what I was saying but I could only see that in
a few minutes with a crushed plants put in the bite and unless our partner,
here you can hear lots of sounds, which leave us baffled but the natives know
very well that they are and where they come from, is simply amazing, without
them we would never have survived this long.
Entry number 3
I can not believe it takes so much time here, just my life
has changed dramatically, not only mine but that of the natives also, the
amount of native now has decreased too because many have died from diseases
such as smallpox which the purchased from us, and too many of our people have
died from many diseases we have gained here.
By conquering these lands the natives had to change their
way of life, now there are many missionaries who try to convert the Indians to
the Catholic religion, but many refuse to change their ways, now have taken
control of many parts of the territory , but after the first conquests of the
natives are beyond territories were able to hear that we are taking their lands
which are already prepared to defend themselves, conditions have changed a lot,
but we could get many things which we could send to Europe, with the collection
of the resources of these lands the economic situation is getting better in
Europe, no clutch here we have an uphill struggle to get more land and
resources and the natives to defend their land and their beliefs.
